EARL DOMAINE YVES GIRARDIN

The Domaine Yves Giaradin consists of 20 hectares, or nearly 50 acres from its
vineyards in Maranges to the northern most part of the Cotes de Beaune, where
they own vineyards in Savigny les Beaune, as well as vineyard holdings in Santenay,
Chassagne Montrachet, Pommard and Beaune.

The vineyard consists of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay.

The Girardin family has cultivated vineyards in this region for over eleven generations.
The estate was divided in 1981 among four children, allowing Yves Girardin to be the
owner of over 7 acres of vines.

Yves Girardin immediately began to expand his family's estate and purchase an additional
40 acres of vineyards. Today the estate consists of nearly 50 acres.

In 2003, Yves was able to purchase the Chateau de la Charriere. This property had always
been admired by his father, Jean Girardin.

They constructed a new functional cellar, which allowed them to better exploit this now
enlarged domaine.

The wines are vinified, aged and eventually bottled on the property, barrel fermentation
in certain situations, and the wines are aged in oak between 12-18 months..
