Jonathan Shiekman has been in the wine and spirit industry since 1971 following
his graduation from Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.  
Upon receiving his degree, Jonathan moved to France where he became familiar
with the French language and trained in the French wine business.

As an owner-operated wine and distilled spirits marketing company, Margate Wine & Spirit Company has very strong personal, as well as business relationships with our distributors.  
These relationships have served us well.

Margate Wine & Spirit Company enjoys a national distribution network consisting of major wholesale firms throughout the United States and also lists as its customers, many of the
leading independent retailers nationally.

Margate Wine & Spirit Company prides itself in providing quality as well as value to the
consumer. Whether they are expensive bottles of Burgundy and Bordeaux or inexpensive
varietal selections from Argentina, a rigid standard of “price versus quality” is applied.
