QUERCIAROSSA

Querciaross Label

HISTORY

A hill filled with "resplendent" light, a strech of vineyards with two enormous
oaks at the centre: we're at the Fattoria Querciarossa (Red Oak Esate) between
Magliano in Tuscany and the sea t Talamone.

An enchanted place, inhabited since the "dawn" of our history; in fact
archaeological finds date from the Bronze Age to the Rinaldone era, with
the Archer's tomb right next to the wine cellar.

Near the vineyards, the Etruscans dug an entire Necropolis out of the
"calcareaou" rock, leaving a great many "cinnabar red" colour paintings.

The Romans also settled in these places; the remins of an entire Roman Farm
were found consisting of the landowner's villa and other houses.

The most recent discovery is perhaps the most facinating: the remains of an
ancient vineyard dating to the Etruscan period.

This land so rich in history just had to have a continuation in the era of the
millennium: Fattoria Querciarossa with its cellar and vineyards, producing wines
whose name and structure hark back to the history and strength of this territory.

RENÉ LEQUIN-COLIN BOURGOGNE CHARDONNAY

Rene Lequin-Colin Label

HISTORY

Born into a family with generations of father and son winemakers dating back to 1679,
Rene lequin married Josette Colin who is also from a family of winemaking heritage in
Chassagne-Montrachet. Together we created the Domain Rene Lequin-Colin. Our goal
is to have a small, family-run estate and since our son François has joined as winemaker
the perenniality is safe. We grow 9 hectares (around 22,5 acres) in Santenay, Chassagne-
Montrachet, Pommard and Nuits Saint Georges. We also proudly produce some Corton
Charlemagne Grand Cru, Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru and red Corton Grand Cru.

Our vines are pruned in " guyot simple " for the Chardonnay. These pruning methods give
us the ability to keep yields low and to get the best expression of the grape varities. With
respect to the environment, every year we work on the soils (ploughing) to allow the wines
to get the necessary resources and to confirm the personality of each terroir. All the grapes
are harvested by hand. Our philosophy for winemaking is to utilize contempory methods
while retaining respect for tradition. We feel fortunate to be able to give our customers the
benefit of savoir-faire or know-how and the experience that our ancestors have
passed down.

CHATEAU RÉAL D'OR

COTES DE PROVENCE ROSÉ

THE VINEYARD:

The actual size of the wine producing vineyard is 108 acres that
are situated at Gonfaron in the heart of the Massif des Maures,
a few kilometers from Luc in Provence.

The Varietals that comprise the vineyard are Grenache, Syrah,
and Cinsault.

The vines have an average age of 25 years and are entirely free
standing, which permits aeration with great exposure to the sun,
allowing the grapes to completely mature.

VINIFICATION:

The Chai is equipped with tanks that are made of betan and ynox
and are completely automatically temperature controlled.  The vinification
of each parcel is followed by computer and each varietal is vinified
separately and differently, according to the selection of the varietal grapes.

The Rose wine benefits from a pre-fermentation selection of several hours,
during which the must is chilled.  The unvinified grape juice is then fermented
in the tradition fashion.  This vinification method allows the wine to be
round and full of fruit.
